Dear users, we hereby announce the return of the Phoenix. As of now it may be played in SIG/VIP games again. That being said, we've decided to temporarily ban Rooftrellen.
During the last weeks, we were monitoring rooftrellen`s influence on the sig games. He`s currently ranked #1 on the DotAzilla hero statistics with an astonishing winrate of 76% after being played over 4000 times. The latest vote, featuring the community`s opinion about rooftrellen`s current power, where 70% of the people voted him overpowered, is underlining our recent conclusion: Rooftrellen is currently heavily overpowered and ruining the game balance. Thus we decided to remove rooftrellen temporarily from the current hero pool for Single Instant Games to make those games more enjoyable again.
Together with the recent balance fixes on Phoenix and a couple of testgames, that were arranged by the staff, Phoenix may now be picked again in single instant games. May he rise from the ashes!
Before playing, make sure to check the affected paragraphs in the rules. Here`s an excerpt:

4.5 Rooftrellen is banned from VIP/SIG Games. You are NOT allowed to pick Rooftrellen, if you do so, the game will be closed and you will receive -10 (marked as leaver). If you are randomly assigned with Rooftrellen the game must be remade with the original mode. You are not allowed to pick Rooftrellen in SD or RD games either, you will receive a penalty (close and -10) if you do so.
We kindly ask for your understanding and look out for a long term solution for rooftrellen.
